Inspired by gratitude, Kim Reynolds recently established the Barbara T. Reynolds Education Fund to honor her mother, Barb, whose life’s work has been rooted in education and community service. Barb spent 36 years teaching at Reeths-Puffer Public Schools, including more than 3 decades nurturing young learners in kindergarten and helping lay the foundation for their futures.
Though retired from the classroom, Barb’s commitment to the community remains strong. She continues to give her time as a board member of the Friends of Walker Library and as a volunteer with Friends of the Frauenthal, reflecting a lifelong dedication to learning, culture, and service.
By creating a Strategic Education Fund, Kim chose to celebrate her mother’s impact now, allowing Barb to witness the difference her legacy is making today. The fund supports educational programs and initiatives throughout Muskegon County, honoring a lifetime devoted to learning while investing in future generations.
