Grants Beyond the Basics – Thursday, August 28

Led by the Community Investment team, this workshop builds upon the Grant Basics workshop to dive deeper into
the characteristics of a strong grant application. Staff will provide an overview of how to develop a program
budget and share details of the Community Foundation’s granting cycle. Participants will complete the workshop
with a better understanding of how to strengthen a grant application, what Community Foundation staff are
looking for when reviewing and making grant award decisions, and tips on measuring impact.
